Inpatient psychiatric treatment for adults at Havenwood Behavioral Health

At Havenwood Behavioral Health, we provide the privacy and individual attention conducive to emotional healing and problem solving. The Havenwood Adult Inpatient Psychiatric Program provides treatment for individuals ages 18 and over experiencing severe psychiatric symptoms that inhibit normal daily living activities and pose a threat of harm to self or others, such as severe depression, severe anxiety, suicidal thoughts, schizophrenia, and/or severe mood swings.
What can families expect?
Our patients are provided various programming services throughout the day, including community meetings, goals groups, self-assessments, recreation therapy, group therapy, and counseling.
Our nursing staff operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and performs assessments and reassessments that determine individualized goals, and collaborates with the patient and the healthcare team to develop and implement a plan of care.
Our registered dietitians provide a nutritional assessment of all patients on special diets, oversee the menu and recipe development and service of therapeutic diets.

Our 44-bed adult acute psychiatric unit is staffed with experienced professionals who understand the pain and conflict of dealing with mental and emotional illness. Direction and medical leadership for the Adult Program are provided by our experienced Director of Nursing and our team of qualified psychiatrists.
